Introducing Me

Hello and Welcome!

 I am so excited that you're here and found your way to my little corner of the world through the vast wide space that is the internet.
 Introductions as promised; my name is Sam, I'm a newly knighted wife and mother. I am married to the most wonderful man for me, (his name is also Sam...Crazy right?!) We just welcomed our little girl into the world December of 2017. She is my whole heart and a constant joyful shining light.

 

 As a new mommy life is filled with first times and countless google searches on what’s “normal” for babies. It really is a whole new world filled with extreme cuteness, extreme heart bursting love, and let’s be real – extreme emotions. Life can be tough especially when it’s all unknown. But we moms are a resilient bunch! We are fighters, lovers, healers, mama bear strong protectors, and so much more. We are Mothers. We don’t have all the answers. We learn along the way, and I’m here to share the life lessons I’m learning with you. The good, the bad, and the ugly. The imperfect and real…because though it may be hard to see at times, that’s where the true beauty lies after all.  
 

I'm an all-natural mommy wanna-be...what does that mean? It means that I'll buy organic produce, drink green smoothies and protein shakes, find alternative methods for treating an illness instead of going to over the counter drugs while in the same breath bite into a milk (that's right, not dark, but the infamous non-healthy milk) chocolate candy bar. And if I'm especially naughty you might even catch me chowing down on some regular, non-wavy, lays potato chips (I'm being very specific because they are my kryptonite and not just any sort of chip will do. Oh I can feel my mouth watering!) 
 

Sorry about that, I'm back.
 

Despite my unhealthy love for certain junk foods, I do have a true passion for health and fitness. My journey is far from over in this aspect, but I love making goals and crushing them like a Mom Boss! Currently my goal is to lose 10 pounds. With all of the knowledge and information that is accessible to us through just the typing of our fingertips I'm able to research and experiment with many different diet fads and exercise routines. The combinations are endless and through trial and error is how I hope to discover the most efficiently beneficial active and healthy lifestyle for my family. I'll be documenting and sharing my failures and successes, what I found worked for me and what didn't - all which you can read about, share in, find a friend and accountability partner through me and hopefully I you, and we’ll learn together lots of health tips through my blog page ‘Fitness’. We are strong Wonder Moms! We got this!
 

I am very much into music, cooking and baking, and creating yummy new recipes or refurbishing old classic ones. I also enjoy arts and crafts from time to time.
 I 'm prone to picking up random hobbies every now and again. From hot glue-gunning to hula hooping. Some of them stick others fall by the way side (haha see what I did there? No? Just me?…okay.) You'll be able to witness all of my shenanigans through the not so specifically titled page 'Fun!'
